Hey Folks, Today we gonna see how to install VROPS 6.6. Before we proceed further check vmware interoperability guide to make sure your vcenter is on supported version.
2. enter the name for your vrops appliance and select location.
3. verify template details.
4. Accept the license and proceed further.
5. Select the configuration according to your environment.
6. Enter all necessary details as shown in below screen.
7. Enter your IP/host name in browser and select new installation.
8. Follow onscreen instructions and configure vrops. It will ask for admin password, master node name, certificate and ntp server details.
9. Confirm the first application startup. Once everything completed enter vrops ip/name again in broswer.
10. Go to administration tab and select vmware vsphere and click on configure button( second one from left).
11. now click on add button and enter vcenter details. Test connections and save settings.
Now we are all set with vrops and vcenter is configured to collect matrices.
- Download VROPS ova file from vmware portal. i had issue deploying it using ova format. So i extracted and used files during deployment.
